Helmsley Walled Garden is a real gem. The fee acre garden is set in the North York Moors at the start of the Cleveland Way National Trail.
Restored from its derelict state in 1994, the Garden has developed over the years and now has a collection of over one hundred apple trees, spectacular double herbaceous borders and a range of themed garden rooms to enjoy.
The Garden, The Vine House Café and our gift shop and plant centre are accessible and there are plenty of seats around the garden to stop, rest and take in the view.
Even better, you can do all this knowing you are making a difference. Helmsley Walled Garden supports vulnerable adults through horticultural therapy. Just by visiting, you are supporting us in this vital work. Thank you for your support and enjoy your visit.
