Hook Gardening Club was established by Hook in Bloom Volunteers in 2010

After a successful 1st year of guest speakers and garden visits we are now in our 4th season of Monthly meetings and  the group continues to  ‘grow’

We have regular monthly visitors and lots of newcomers who come to our monthly meetings.

No Annual Membership fees just pay on the door!

We run a raffle, offer free refreshments and have a new ‘Plant and seed swap’ table. & Gardening book reference table.  If you haven’t brought anything to swap but would like a plant of packet of seeds all we ask is for a donation the gardening blloks can be borrow and returned the following month.

We have a large selection of ‘new’ packets of seeds as well as seeds that have been collected from our own gardens.

We are very fortunate to have Sponsors for 2015 and they have generously donated raffle prizes for our monthly meetings in return for advertising on our website & social Media.

Please support our sponsors and visit their websites. www.perfectplants.co.uk & www.langlandsgardencentre.co.uk

Just pop along and join in – you don’t have to be the best gardener in the world but you can be assured of an interesting time, great speakers and some great raffle prizes. Give it a try!  –  Judy Popley

  • If you live anywhere near this companionable gardening club, I do not hesitate to recommend it.

I have been giving talks, about how to fit your garden into your lifestyle, for about 3 years now and had a lovely evening with the Hook Gardening Club recently, when I gave the first talk for 2018, back in January. The evening was well attended by very friendly and knowledgeable people who gave me a much appreciated welcome.
Having attended many such groups by now, I can safely say that the Hook Gardening Club stands out for its ability to make visitors and members alike feel at ease, friendly people and interesting talks (not that I’m biaised, of course!)  – Sally Tierney
